Morning Star is a no-nonsense custom trawler in excellent condition and is actively cruised. Designed by naval architect William Barrows for his own use and strongly built by the custom shop at Willard. She was purchased in 1989 by her second owner and underwent a major refit in 2000 by Hinckley in Southwest Harbor, Maine that included new engines and transmissions, new teak decks, brightwork, new windows, full paint below and above water and new heavy lift crane to mention a few of many upgrades.
